indiehackers.lol started as a very stupid side project: no ads, no algorithm, no revenue share, no growth hacks. Just indie hackers outbidding each other for the top of a public list. Rank is the bid — that's it.

Why it works

Every other leaderboard rewards whoever games the algorithm hardest. This one is honest about the exchange rate: money buys attention. Your X profile is pulled in automatically — avatar, name, follower count — so the only thing you control is how much you're willing to spend to sit above the person you keep seeing on your timeline.

Anyone can bump you

Nothing is permanent. Someone will pay a dollar more, and you'll drop a place. You can raise your listing at any time and only pay the difference. Bids are final — no refunds when you get outranked. That's the whole game.
